CHICKS & PULLETS
Yes, chickens can lay blue tinted eggs! You won't find blue eggs sold in stores but you can get them from your own back yard! Purchase the rare breed, Ameraucana chicks, and you'll have a beautiful flock of hens in black, buff, and blue wheaten colors and blue eggs for your breakfast table! Ameraucanas are hardy birds with a sweet temperament, muffs and a beards. This breed should not be confused with Easter Eggers.
Productive dual-purpose breeds that are docile, hardy, and easy to raise and just waiting for your family to take them home!
Rhode Island Reds
Bielefelder
Chicks are hatched on a regular basis and require heat until they are about a month old. Bielefelder are sex-linked so they can be sexed 100% accurately based on how the chicks looks!
Pullets are young hens that haven't started laying eggs yet but young enough to know they aren't "over their peak" egg laying years. They are an excellent choice for families that don't have the space, equipment or patience to raise chicks that require to "be on heat" and won't lay eggs for 6 months. Price based on age and are available in the following breeds, Ameraucana, Rhode Island Red and Bieldefelder's while supplies last.
