Food Sovereignty Sanctuary provides affordable high quality breeds of egg laying chicks and pullets (young hens) to families on the Big Island of Hawaii. 

In addition to proving scholarships to support the start of costs of raising a backyard flock, we provide online and in-person educational workshops around the Big Island for children and families to learn how to care for their backyard flock.
